I had the pleasuring of meeting some of the Chin Up team at Bloggers Ball 2016. They explained to me about their 30 minute non-surgical face lift and I really couldn't wait to try it. My chin is always a worry for me, I'm forever fretting that I have a double chin. So hopefully this could be the start of something great for me!
The packaging is gorgeous, a white pristine and glossy box with hints of red throughout. As soon as I returned from the event I tried this on. Inside you receive the chin up strap mask, two slimming masks and a tape measure.
The girls had previously explained that wearing this face mask for 30-40 a day will improve and tighten the area under my chin. I put it on and much to my boyfriend's amusement I had it on for around 20 minutes. Let it be noted, I've learnt my lesson to not wear this around people that you want to look cute for.
It's very much a product to wear whilst having your morning cup of tea, alone in your kitchen. It's very tight and is a little hard to talk or even laugh in.
So first of all I measured from ear to ear, underneath my chin (it was 21cm) and then I applied the slimming mask, which the strap goes over and essentially holds in place. The slimming mask has a substance all over it which I wasn't expecting. I applied it to my face, cheeks and neck. I then put the red mask over it and fastened it at the top of my head. The mask is easy to apply as your ears slot through the slits at the side and you chin is situated in the slit from the black strap.
Honestly, the feeling I had whilst I had this on was very weird. The slimming mask that was underneath was tingling my skin, it felt very hot and I was worried that once I removed the mask I would have had a reaction to the chemicals on the mask. It wasn't unbearable, just uncomfortable.
30 minutes done and I removed the face mask. I massaged my neck and face as instructed and I really did feel and see a difference. My skin felt a lot softer and felt tighter. There was no redness and the uncomfortable feeling disappeared as soon as I removed the mask. I measured my chin again and it was a good 19cm. That's 2cm in 30 minutes!
I honestly did see a difference and here's the picture to prove it. The lighting is a little different as 30 minutes at around 9pm is probably the worst time I could have picked to do this test. I tried to be the same in both pictures but there is a little difference. I'm really happy with the result and I think using this regularly will improve that area so much.
I tried to keep my mouth, tongue and head at the same place and angle because I know this makes a huge difference with how your chin looks. Personally, I can see a change. My chin goes up in the second photo instead of down in the left.
Considering this mask is a non-surgical option, it's great! Chih up is an easy home treatment that only takes 30 minutes to show improvement already. I can't wait to carry on using this more regularly and seeing how my chin and neck area improves!
