It's crazy to think how huge selfies are these days. They are a part of my everyday, and no I'm not just being vain. When I'm on holiday, I'm constantly taking selfies of my boyfriend and me infront of something cool, historic or as an attempt to capture a, rare, cute moment between us! So when I'd heard that Rimmel London have released an Insta collection I was over the moon. I couldn't quite believe my luck when I returned home to find a gorgeous package from Rimmel London containing their WHOLE collection! So thank you very much for these Rimmel!
So I thought I'd do a review of these products and I have used everything from their Insta collection so I can give my full and honest thoughts! So lets start with the #Insta FIX & GO 2 in 1 Primer & Setting Spray. I absolutely love setting sprays but I haven't ever primed my face with a spray before. It's such a refreshing way to begin my make-up application and it smells amazing! This retails at £6.99 from Boots.
I then applied the #Insta Conceal & Contour Palette this palette works wonders. I used the 010 Light palette because, I am yet to go on holiday yet this year and my skin colour is shouting that out to everyone! I used this palette to lighten up under my eyes, contour my cheek bones and highlight my forehead, nose and cheekbones. It's such a great all-in-one palette for contouring and highlighting. I feel like if I was staying away for a weekend, this would be such a great product to take with me! It's got everything I need. This retains at £6.49 in Boots and Rimmel London offer three different shades for this palette.
I think this next product has to be one, if not THE, favourite item from this new collection. The Insta Duo Contour Stick is AMAZING. I love how easy it is to apply my contour and reach everywhere on my face. This is the product that, for me, made the most difference to my face. I feel like it pulled it all together and got it looking exactly how I wanted. I used the shade Light in this Duo Stick because the highlight shade is perfect for my skin tone. I love this Duo Stick so much, I am obsessed with it. This stick is £6.99 from Boots.
After correcting, concealing, contouring and highlighting my face I then like to apply translucent powder to set everything in place and remove any unwanted shine! For this I used Rimmel London's new #Insta Fix & Matte Translucent Powder. Firstly, this powder is so cute! The pressed powder has lots of little hashtags on it and it smells AMAZING! I found the coverage of this to be quite light and not too heavy, which for me, is the perfect way to finish off my beauty routine. This powder is £4.99 from Boots and I think it finishes this look perfectly. It sets everything and removes any little creases that may have formed during my application.
I then perfect all of this with another spritz of the Fix & Go Primer & Setting Spray which really did help to hold and keep my make up Picture Perfect all day! And there we have it!
So here's my #INSTASELFIE created with Rimmel London's new Insta collection!
Thank you so much Rimmel London for sending me this unreal collection and letting my try these products first hand! I love it and I love how easy it is now going to be to get selfie ready!
