December was a crazy whirlwind of a month and the first full month of my new job. I think it’s fair to say it took over and by the time my Christmas break came around I was ready for cheese, crackers and lots of prosecco!
Prior to the release of the next GLOSSYBOX I thought I’d recap on December’s box and show you all the beauty that was inside
Firstly, how cute is the boxing?! I love it! The limited edition GLOSSYBOXES are beautiful. I have a little stack of them - they’re too pretty to throw away and I’m yet to discover what to do with them.
I also absolutely love the gold detailing on this box. Not only on the cover but the packaging inside and the, as always, perfectly tied bow inside.
The first thing we need to instantly discuss is the Raffaello that’s inside. Now, I’ve not ever had these before but I absolutely LOVE Ferrero Rochers! These are made by the same company and I know they are more coconutty! I am sure they won’t disappoint!! (After editing this piece and undoubtably eating these, I can confirm they are INCREDIBLE!).
There are two products in here that go so perfectly with the gold theme that I was discussing earlier.
Firstly the Laqa & Co. Cloud Lips matte lipstick. Encased in a beautiful rose-gold container, the colour of this is so cute. It's so light on my lips, hence the naming.
The next rose-gold beauty is the Steve Laurant eyeliner. This product is by far my favourite of this months box. I've recently started using felt-tip liners as opposed to a liquid dip liner. I love them, they're so much easier to create that feline flick and it is so easy to apply!
One of the most handy products in this box that I've actually needed for a while is the Lipsyl Mirror Compact. This lip balm is gorgeous, made with moisturising shea butter, cocoa butter and aloe vera it's beautiful. It makes such an instant difference to my lips and it lasts for ages. Not to mention the fact that this product comes with a mirror, which is absolutely perfect for me to have in my handbag and pull out whenever it's needed.
The Kyrolan Eye Shadow Primer is FULL-SIZE! I've used a few eye shadow primers before but none have been this size. I feel like the value for money is brilliant with this and it's so easy to apply and it makes such a difference to my eyeshadow!
The final product in this Dusty Boy limited edition box is the Naobay Equilibria Gel to Milk Cleanser. Again, full-size and it can be applied to dry skin. You begin by massaging this over your face, adding water until it turns to milk and then finishing by rinsing off with warm water. I love that you can visibly see the change take place and it is so soft on my face. Harsh cleansers are sometimes too much on my face so this is the perfect everyday alternative.
I can't wait to see what January's box brings! Thanks GLOSSYBOX for sending this beautiful box over to me.
